Spray band and filter screen 

FRP spray pipe adopted in desulfurization tower absorber and flue gas desulfurization project is usually made in segmented and sub-unit in order to facilitate transportation. Connect all parts using winding adhesive process during installation on site. At present, the connection between slurry nozzle and FRP spray pipe is basically changed from previous flange connection to winding bonding process. Winding bonding technology has advantages of high connection strength, not easy leakage, simple process, convenient construction and low cost etc.

1.Spray pipe

(1)Technical Characteristics of FRP Spray Pipe

Corrosion resistance: The inner liner of pipe adopts epoxy vinylester resin to resist erosion of flue gas and liquid containing sulfur or fluorine.

Heat resistance: The inner liner of pipe adopts epoxy vinylester resin, long-term working temperature is at 150℃without deformation when instantaneous high temperature up to 260℃.

Abrasion resistance: Abrasion filler of silicon carbide is added to pipe when manufacture. Inside and outside surface is smooth, roughness coefficient is low. Abrasion resistance is excellent in the liquid of solid content of 18%. The internal and external thickness of abrasion layer is 3-4 mm.

Thermal shock resistance:  FRP made from epoxy vinyl ester resin has good thermal shock resistance. It can avoid delamination under the condition of thermal shock at 200℃.

Winding forming: Long fiber reciprocating continuous winding process controlled by computer, reasonable proportion distribution according to the axial and hoop stress under working condition, which can greatly enhance adhesive property between the layers of FRP and avoid to occur circumferential cracks. FYGRP research and develop integral forming process of reducing mould, adopts winding forming one time with reducing straight pipe according to the requirements of different customers to reduce the number of joint.

(2)Specification of FRP spray pipe

DN25—DN2000mm     temperature  resistance: 260℃    pressure resistance: 1.6Mpa.

(3)FRP spray pipe connection type 

Spray pipe adopts winding wrap connection or flange connection, butt joint for slurry pipe and oxidized air pipe, flange or butt joint process for connecting spray pipe and spray nozzle. According to the actual use, the connection of support beam and pipe on site is whole wrap.

(4)Color: black, green, light yellow

2. Filter screen

Select vinyl ester resin, abrasion resistance filler (silicon carbide) and glass fiber, prefabricated mold, laminate according to design, spray forming, according to different requirements for opening with CNC machine to open holes, after grinding burr, brush UV absorbent and deliver for inspection.

Filter screen is generally semicircle and spherical, flange connection. Filter screen is fully made from abrasion resistance materials due to it all touches corrosive liquid.  

3.Oxidized air pipe

Oxidized air pipe is fabricated using vinyl ester resin according to oxidized air volume, customer demand, and add abrasion resistance filler, provide double 450, double 900, single side straight row and other forms to ensure the aeration effect.

4.Flue gas guide ring

Flue gas guide ring researched and developed by FYGRP is patent product, with FRP abrasion resistance layer of 10-15 mm, install at 600-700 mm of spray head horizontal vertical distance with ‘‹’ type. Slurry ejects through spray head, the original design scheme was to wash the tower wall directly, engineer of FYGRP designs to directly wash flue gas guide ring, which greatly extend service life and reduce maintenance times, environment of slurry scouring tower wall has been greatly improved. Flue gas guide ring design can reduce flue gas escape. The original design greatly changes the angle and direction of spray head in order to reduce scour tower wall, thus a large number of flue gas will directly discharge along the tower wall. Desulfurization efficiency can not meet the emission requirement. The new technology by FYGRP will change the direction of flue gas, flue gas react after entering the center area, to improve desulfurization effect, meet environmental requirements.
