FYGRP ® vessel installation usage introduction

1.Installation 

Lifting according to the following steps in order to avoid damage during lifting large vessels:

(1)Check the foundation size as per drawing and measure actually concavity of tank bottom. Pave fine sand of granularity less than 5mm on foundation touching surface. 

(2)Lifting tank bottom with crane, remove support, place bottom knuckle on sand bed.

(3)Install lifting guide ring on large flange of tank roof center. 

(4)Install double direction lifting rack at the lower manhole. Lifting rack includes inside and outside lifting lug, inside lifting lug stretch into the tank.

(5)Put lifting rope through lifting guide ring, one side hitches on hook of first crane, the other side hitches on the inside lifting lug. Lifting rope should not touch tank wall, if touching, adjust the stretch amount of inside lifting lug. The hook of secondary crane hitches on outside lifting lug of double direction lifting rack through lifting rope.

(6)Lift tank conical top with first crane, make tank body incline 45°. Rotate tank slowly with secondary crane, tank bottom knuckle slide on sand bed till the tank bottom leave ground.

(7)Handle crane carefully, make the tank upright, lift it on foundation to position. 

(8)Check whether foundation coincide with tank bottom. If not, lift it or peripheral filling, pad with sand till every part coincidence. 

(9)Install lower manhole, each flange is provide with blind plate (except vent).

(10) Fill water into tank and drain, repeat twice (also do with hydrotest at the same time) to stabilize tank.

(11) Fusional asphalt is cast to the around of tank bottom to avoid sand loss (also make sand retaining groove)

2.Usage 

(1)Atmospheric pressure vessel usage: It is strictly forbidden to pressurize or pump negative pressure, and leave vent holes during adding or draining liquid. Do not add or drain liquid in a sealed state.

(2) It is strictly forbidden to exceed the use conditions stipulated in contract: the vessel is specially designed and manufactured according to the use conditions of contract. Without consent of the supplier's technical department, the user shall not change medium in the vessel, nor change temperature and concentration of medium.

(3)It is forbidden to install special accessories at will: vessels fabricated by FYGRP, except the user's specific requirements in contract, it is not allowed to install large accessories such as agitators, special valves or vibrating equipment. If these accessories are actually needed, they must be stated in contract to do special design to ensure safety.

(4)Strictly prohibit hard objects hitting or scratching: when entering the vessel for cleaning and maintenance, the operator should wear soft-soled shoes. When using ladder, all points in contact with the vessel should be covered with soft pads to prevent scratching the surface. When working around, prevent tools, scaffolds and other hard objects from hitting the vessel.

(5) Keep away from fire source: generally, FRP products are not allowed to approach fire source.
